Natural Healthy Beauty, Make-up, Skincare for Busy Women

There are hairstyles that were designed specifically to give body and texture to fine or thin hair types. For full, vibrant hair, those with fine locks should use a combination of styling products and a style that enhances the shape of their face.
Many women with thin or fine hair are unhappy with their limp and droopy hair styles. Therefore, they turn to specially designed body boosting products and hair styling techniques.
In order to find a style that works best for you, there are a few factors you should consider.
Fine hair has a smaller diameter than normal hair, and there are two types of fine hair, also. One appears thick because while the strands themselves are thin, there are many of them. The second variety appears thinner, because the hair follicles are fewer and far between, as well as the strands being small in diameter.
The type of fine hair that you have will determine the hairstyle that is going to look best on you.
Those of us with fine hair have a very difficult time getting our hair to look lively and voluminous. To remedy this problem, there are several different hair styles you can try that can help give those locks a boost.
Let your Hair Down – Here is a great standby for people with straight, thin hair to add body and texture. Blow dry your hair each evening, after washing with a volume boosting formula, and then pull it into a ponytail at the top of your head. Leave the ponytail in while you sleep and when you take it down the next morning you will have a nice body boost.
You can also tweak this method to add waves or curls to your hair while you sleep. Once again, in the evening after washing you hair, pull your hair into a big bun, many little buns, or braids. When you wake up and take them out, you will voluminous waves and curls that should last throughout the day. Not only will this method save you time in the morning, but it is much healthier for your hair than using heated styling irons. That being said, using hot rollers is okay for this type of hair, because the follicles are more apt to handle the heat than other hair types.
Sweeping Bangs – You can ask your hairstylist to give you bangs that sweep to one side, which will add depth to your do. Sideswept bangs are a great way to frame your face and add interest to your hair style.
Bobs and Layers – For medium length styles, a bob or layers can create texture and body.
When it boils down, the best way to find the style that will look best on you is to talk with your hairstylist about which options suit your hair type and face shape in the most flattering way. A great place to start is using hair care and styling products that are designed for thickening hair. Moisturizing shampoos and leave in conditioners are very effective, and you can even find some products that ‘plump’ the actual follicles. Experiment with a few of these products and you will quickly discover what works the best for you.
