Natural Healthy Beauty, Make-up, Skincare for Busy Women
We have all had those days when our eyes are little more puffy than we would like. To get rid of them I always use the Nutrimetics Nourishing Eye Pads RRP $22.00 for 40 Pads because the Cucumber and Green Tea extracts really soothe my eyes (especially when I spend too long staring at a computer screen). Quick Tip: Keep your eye pads in the fridge for extra coolness (works wonders for dark circles as well).
This great little video has some awesome makeup tips for covering puffy eyes.

The current trend for men’s skincare is growing every day with more and more Australian men taking the time to care for their skin.
The latest range from Nutrimetics is stylish and simple with a Cleansing Face Wash, Energising Face Gel, Total Hair & Body Wash and Anti-Irritation Shave Foam.
My top pick from the range would have to be the Hair & Body Wash (RRP $24.00) which is formulated to clean both hair and body (I love a product with multiple uses!) but best of all smells wonderful – ladies make sure your boyfriend/hubby uses this product – you won’t be able to keep your hands off him afterwards – it smells that good!
The skincare set – containing Face Wash, Face Gel, Hair & Body Wash and stylish mens toiletries bag is currently on sale in the August Brochure for $49.90 (Offer Valid until 31 August 2008).
Contact your consultant or myself to order in time for Fathers Day.
This great little video explains it all – what different types of darkness around the eyes means, how to treat it and how to cover it. Perfect!

Spring is just around the corner for us Aussie girls so its time to start adding some colour back into our pale winter bodies.
Creating the perfect fake tan starts with making sure you have a good base to begin with, so the day before use your favorite body exfoliator to remove any dead skin cells so you are left with smooth skin.
Before you apply your fake tan, put some body moisturiser on your knees, elbows and ankles. These areas are usually quite dry and can absorb more colour than the rest of the body if not properly moisturised first.
Important: Make sure your body moisturiser doesn’t contain mineral oil or petroleum products as these will stop the fake tan from reaching the skin at all (since they create a waterproof barrier) and you’ll be left with white knees and ankles – not a good look.
Start with your thighs and move down your legs applying in a circular motion, leave the knees and ankles to last when you only have a small amount left on your hands.
Move up to your stomach then chest, and down the front of your arms. When you only have a tiny bit left on your hands then cover the inside region of your arms and down under your arms and the sides of your body.
If you can reach, then apply your tan to your back, neck and bottom.
Finish with your face by starting with the cheeks and nose, around the chin and finally the forehead. Don’t forget the area under your chin which is often missed.
Make sure you wash your hands thoroughly so you are not left with any fake tan on the inside of your hands.
And there you go! You’ve just applied the perfect fake tan.
